Company Profile
We’ve come a long way since that day in October of 2000 when we opened our doors for the first time. We’ve made some changes but our obsessive focus on customer satisfaction and creating opportunities for our clients has never wavered. We understand that doing business in foreign markets takes fluency beyond simply speaking the language. We know how to read the local market and foster the right relationships to build your business and get the results you need.
We've helped write many success stories. We’ve developed distribution and sales in Latin America and throughout Asia. We’ve developed and fostered ongoing relationships in these markets that we utilized to create immediate opportunities for our clients. For example, in Japan we can maintain contact with decision makers that affect domestic U.S. projects or, if desired, we can obtain global approvals and extend your sales throughout the world. Through our partnership with Focus Business Produce, Inc in Japan we offer expertise across the Pacific. Through existing distribution networks developed in Mexico, we can launch a product and have nationwide exposure in a short period. We open doors that create sales and generate revenue for our clients in Japan, China, Taiwan, Mexico and more.
Take some time to learn more about The Engler Group and see for yourself why we think we’re just a little different from the other guy.
History
The Engler Group was founded in October of 2000 by Matt and Tricia Engler. Originally, the plan was to consult companies who were developing large-scale web sites. As the dot com sector softened, Matt and Tricia began to seek other opportunities. With Matt's experience in the automotive industry as a sales engineer and Tricia's experience in direct, business to business and consumer sales, the decision was made to shift the focus and become a traditional manufacturer's representative firm.
Since the West Coast Automotive OEM's are transplant companies with decisions influenced by overseas head offices, we realized that an opportunity existed. That opportunity laid in our ability to offer U.S. parts manufacturers that did not have the knowledge or resources to pursue relationships with the overseas head offices a channel of communication which could level the playing field with parts companies based on the transplant OEM's home turf. Immediately, we began searching for the proper partner to help us accomplish this. The results of this search: The Engler Group recently formed an alliance with Focus Business Produce, Inc. Focus Business was founded by Tatsuya Oishi who like us, saw a need for creating better channels for businesses desiring to operate on both sides of the Pacific.

Today
Today, we're global. We're building distribution in Mexico and extending into Brazil and the rest of South America. We're training distributors in China and Japan and looking to Southeast Asia, India and beyond and we're exporting products to all parts of Asia. We may not always speak the local languages but we're fluent in the language of international commerce.

Synergy
We maintain a small base of client manufacturers resulting in higher service levels for both our clients and our customers. We create synergies between clients that economize the sales process, create more opportunities and build momentum. We've opened new markets for one manufacturer and brought the others along as well. We are adamant about communication, reporting all contacts in writing directly to our clients building a paper trail, which aids in mapping the decision process. But most important of all, we love what we do and it shows in our work and the results we get.

The Future
It may sound like a cliché but the future is limitless! We will continue to extend our foreign market relationships so as to offer our client manufacturers increasing opportunities for expansion. At the same time, we will capitalize on our overseas relationships to create opportunities in domestic markets. And finally, we will build our manufacturing client list at a measured pace, maintaining maximum synergy and service levels. Check back from time to time and watch our growth.
